Scrapbooking & Card Making Contest Rules

 

Entry Level Youth - Ages 12 and under

Entry Level High School - Ages 13 -17

Entry Level Adults – Ages 18 to 64

Entry Level Golden Ages – Ages 65 and over

 

Level Youth:

• Submit one or two coordinating 12”x12” scrapbook page layouts or 2 handmade cards (omit photos and journal box for card entries)
• Any theme
• Minimum 1 to 10 photos (any size)
• Journal box/area
• No digital layouts accepted

 

Level High School:

• Submit two coordinating 12”x12” scrapbook page layouts or 2 handmade cards (omit theme title, photos and journal box for card entries)
• Any theme
• Combination of color coordinating printed papers & solid cardstocks
• Minimum 5 to 10 photos (any size)
• Journal box
• Theme title
• No digital layouts accepted
• Embellish as needed
• Description & brand names of all products and techniques used are to be listed on back of each layout or card (One “unknown” accepted per entry)

 

Level Adults & Golden Ages:

• Submit two coordinating 12”x12” scrapbook page layouts or 2 handmade cards (omit theme title, photos and journal box for card entries)
• Any theme
• Combination of color coordinating printed papers & solid cardstocks
• Minimum 4 to 10 photos (various sizes, cannot all be 4”x6”, crop as needed)
• Journal box
• Theme title
• No digital layouts accepted
• Embellished with hand made techniques (such as; use of punches, cricut machine cuts outs, inks, stamping, glazes, mists, bling, flower soft etc.). Be creative and pre packaged embellishments not hand made by you (embellishments purchased from LSS)
• Description & brand names of all products and techniques used are to be listed on back of each layout or card (One “unknown” accepted per entry)

Entries can be dropped off at Scrapbook N Such by noon on Monday, September 12, 2011 and we will take them to the TO Fair for judging on Monday night September 12, 2011.  If you do not pick up your entry on Saturday night at closing of the fair then all entries that were originally dropped off at Scrapbook n Such will be returned back to SNS for you to pick up any time on Monday, September 19 or thereafter.

Scrapbook n Such has the official TO Fair Entry forms.  Be sure when you bring your entry (entries) to Scrapbook n Such that you complete a entry form for each submission along with the $2.00 entry fee per entry submission.
